• Manual cutting machine. The set includes a table with T-guides and sample holders. Engine power 3.0 kW / 3.2 kW. Recirculation cooling system (TRECI).

• Grinder/polisher with adjustable speed, replaceable discs and variable pressure of the sample on the polishing pad.

• Urządzenie umożliwia odparowanie oraz uzyskanie różnej grubości powłok z złota, srebra, palladu, platyny i węgla. Możliwość zastosowania do SEM lub BSE np. WDS i EDS. Zastosowanie gazu ochronnego (Ar) o najwyższej czystości pozwala na uzyskanie doskonałej powłoki. Proces jest programowany i kontrolowany poprzez mikroprocesorowy programator z panelem dotykowym.

• Opal 410 is a fully hydraulic, water-cooled, metal-grain mounting press. The entire process sequence is programmed and executed automatically when the device is turned on.

• The device allows to prepare metal samples up to 60 mm in diameter.

• The Soltec "Sonica 5300EP S3" device allows washing with ultrasounds, which ensures quick and effective cleaning. The use of this type of cleaning prevents mechanical damage and is of particular importance during the preparation of materials for testing.

• The device is used for cutting massive samples.

• Device for revealing the microstructure of metals by electrolytic etching. The device is designed for electrolytic etching of steel, aluminum alloys, nickel alloys, copper and titanium.

• Monodest 3000E offers high purity water with a conductivity of about 0.7 mS / cm. The water after purification is used for many devices, including: APS devices, cooling units for welding machines and a tribometer, devices for etching and an ultrasonic cleaner. Water is also used to prepare specimen etching preparations and to clean equipment and laboratory vessels.

• The sandblasting device is designed to prepare the surface of the material intended for plasma spraying (APS). The cabin is adapted to work with various abrasives with a grain size of 0.1 to 0.8 mm. The cabin has a turntable that emerges from the large size of the cabin. Thanks to the large dimensions and the turntable, it is possible to place large elements.

• Wire erosion machine BP95d (2 axes) is used to cut out details of programmable shapes by an erosion method in any type of material (copper, aluminium, steel, sinters), electric conduction materials by using thin wire moved in the guide tracks vertically down. In the Department, it is used to cut smaller samples from large details.
